Dr. Ali Irani (PT)

Dr. Ali Irani is a renowned and honoured personality in the field of physiotherapy. His proficiency is highly sought after in the sports world. He was the physiotherapist for Indian cricket team from 1987-1997. He has extensive experience working with professional athletes at state and national level. He has also helped several famous Bollywood celebrities recover from serious injuries.

Academically, Dr. Ali Irani completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy (B. Physio) from The Maharaja Sayajirao University, Baroda. He also has two Ph.Ds in the field of Sports Medicine and Anatomy of Body Movement and Dance. He also earned a Doctor of Physiotherapy through National University of Medical Sciences (Spain). He has been working as Head of Department, Physiotherapy and Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation Centre, Nanavati Super Speciality Hospital, Mumbai since 1st July 1987. Currently, he is the Chairperson (International Affairs) for the Indian Association of Physiotherapists where he is also a patron member. He is also the Vice President of the Bombay District Sports Medicine Association and the Bombay Suburban Amateur Athletic Association. Dr. Ali Irani is an active member and holds a post at the International Board of Medicine & Surgery (IBMS). He is also a Life Member of the Indian Federation of Neuro-Rehabilitation (IFNR).

Dr. Ali Irani’s areas of specialization are sports & orthopaedic physiotherapy and he has also presented papers on knee mobility, backache, hammer tone for frozen shoulder, fitness and sports injuries. His expertise extends globally where Dr. Ali Irani has been a speaker at various events on sports, physiotherapy and health including the 19th WCPT (World Confederation for Physical Therapy) General Meeting. He also conducts workshops for the Iranian Physiotherapy Association.

Dr. Seema Grover (PT)

Dr. Seema Grover is currently Chief of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation at Apollo Hospitals Delhi. She is proficient in hospital administration, operations, personnel supervision, leading a team of dynamic physiotherapists, occupational therapists, prosthetists and orthotists, ensuring high productivity and clinical excellence.
Dr. Seema Grover is the 1st certified Lymphedema therapist in India since 2007 from KLOSE, USA. Her specialization is in Lymphedema management, wound management, geriatric care, orthopedic physiotherapy & Rehabilitation. She is highly experienced in management of ICU, transplant, oncological, orthopedic, neurological, vascular, endocrinology and geriatric patients, along with dysphagia management, incontinence management and orthotics & prosthetics prescription.

Dr. Seema Grover has worked as IAP Joint Secretary (Delhi) from 2020-2021 and as Joint Secretary for IAP Women’s Cell (Delhi Branch) from 2019-2020. She is the life member of IAP and member of Delhi Council of Physiotherapists and Occupational therapists. She has served as Nodal Officer for COVID response for Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, New Delhi.

Dr. Seema Grover is serving a member of Board of Studies for Manav Rachna International University, Physiotherapy, SGT University, Gurugram, Gurugram University and Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences & Research University.

Dr. Harpreet Singh Sachdeva (PT)

Dr. Harpreet S Sachdeva has been an academician & a clinical Neuro-Physiotherapist for more than 10 years at AIIMS,New Delhi, an institute well renowned for clinical research and practice. He has graduated in 2004, as a Master of Physiotherapy, with specialization in Adult Neurology from Manipal University, India. He has been a part of research in stroke, multiple sclerosis, brain injury, spinal cord injury rehabilitation, with 8 national & international publications. He has received Shobha Alva memorial award (2001), and TMA Pai Gold Medal (2004), for contribution to academics and research. With interest in motor control, he participated in the Post graduate level 1 PNF program from Vallejo, USA; Neurodynamics Solutions course, and then the Basic and advanced NDT courses from the NDTA.
